James “Jim”
Wilson, President/Chairman Mr. Wilson is the President and Chairman of ActSoft, Inc. Prior to
joining ActSoft, Mr. Wilson held the office of Vice President and worked
in reengineering of international pharmaceutical companies. He had
twenty years experience in sales of which ten years were in large
project software sales.
Jim joined ActSoft in 1997, and moved ActSoft from a software
development company into a successful sales company. In addition, Mr.
Wilson was responsible for building the financial base of ActSoft and
raising the capital need to convert ActSoft from a capital software
sales model to subscription software sales model.
Jim holds a BS degree in Chemistry and Math from the University of
Arkansas and did graduate work in Physical Chemistry at the University
of Michigan. He also received extensive education in electronics while
in the Navy, completing his service working on spy planes on the USS
Independence.
