StateRAMP Authorized

Actsoft has completed each stage of the StateRAMP review process, and our software platform has been given StateRAMP authorization. State and local government agencies can now trust that Actsoft complies with the strict criteria outlined by NIST 800-53 requirements for state and local regulations.

What is StateRAMP Authorization?

StateRAMP authorization is a state-distinctive version of the federal government’s FedRAMP program, which establishes standardized security criteria for cloud-based services used by government agencies. Authorized vendors undergo a rigorous process that involves substantial testing and assessments to verify that a cloud-based service complies with the criteria outlined by NIST 800-53 requirements for state and local regulations. By achieving this status, Actsoft has fulfilled its vision of delivering elite workforce management technology that exceeds the needs of government agencies.

Our processes and procedures are audited by an authorized Third Party Assessment Organization (3PAO) to ensure compliance. The Workforce Manager for Federal application is hosted on the Microsoft Azure Government Cloud. There is no co-mingling between Government secured Data and Commercial.

HIPAA Compliant

Our Vault and Shield applications also comply with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 by meeting its strict requirements for keeping sensitive patient health information (PHI) truly safeguarded.

What is HIPAA-Compliance?

HIPAA is a series of regulatory standards that outline the lawful use and disclosure of PHI. HIPAA compliance is adherence to the physical, administrative, and technical safeguards outlined in HIPAA, which covered entities and business associates must uphold to protect the integrity of Protected Health Information (PHI).

HIPAA compliance is regulated by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and enforced by the Office for Civil Rights (OCR).
